Autumn Cape Cod Vacation
including Nantucket, Boston & Vermont
Tentative Itinerary:
Day 1: Tues., Oct. 11 – The tour will depart from Barrie, Kozlov Mall at 7:30a.m. & the Tour Office at 8:00a.m. (Overnight parking is available at our Tour Office) A Canadian Passport will be required for the border crossing into the USA. We will allow time for duty free shopping. Today we travel to Albany, New York for our overnight stay at the Hampton Inn.
Day 2: Wed., Oct. 12 – Today we travel to Yarmouth, Massachusetts where you can unpack and relax for our 4-night stay. Enjoy an evening dinner at our hotel, The Red Jacket Inn, located at 1 South Shore Drive, South Yarmouth, MA. (B & D)
Day 3: Thurs., Oct. 13 - After breakfast, we will depart for a day on the island of “Nantucket”. We will arrive on the island at 11:30a.m. and will have free time and lunch on own in the downtown area of Nantucket. In the afternoon we will board a local coach and have a guided tour. We will return to Hyannis at 6:30p.m. where we will have dinner before returning to our hotel. (B & D)
Day 4: Fri., Oct. 14 – Today we will explore Hyannis in depth. Highlights will include: a guided tour, a visit to St. Francis Xavier Church, the JFK memorial, Cape Cod Central Railroad for a scenic luncheon train excursion and free time in the afternoon for shopping in Hyannis. Dinner will be on your own before returning to the hotel at 7:00p.m. (B & L).
Day 5: Sat., Oct. 15 – Today we will be out for a full day of touring along the Old Kings Highway with at stop at the Cape Cod National Seashore and Highland Lighthouse. We will arrive in Provincetown for free time and lunch on own. In the afternoon we’ll enjoy an exciting Whale watching cruise. This evening we will dine at the Whitman House for a traditional Lobster Dinner. Optional entrée is always available if you don’t enjoy Lobster. (B & D)
Day 6: Sun., Oct. 16 – After breakfast, we bid farewell to the Cape and head for the city of Boston. This morning we will visit the JFK Library followed by free time at Quincy Market and Fanueil Hall for lunch on own. In the afternoon there will be a guided city tour which includes the Freedom Trail and sights of famous movie sites of Boston, such as the park bench where Matt Damon & Robins Williams sat in the “Good Will Hunting” the spot where the Boston Police and Matt Damon played rugby in “The Departed” and a visit to the “Bull n Finch Pub”, based on the TV show “Cheers” will conclude our day. We will overnight in Suburban Boston at the Hilton Garden Inn and have dinner on own. (B)
Day 7: Mon., Oct. 17 – A group breakfast will be served before departing for Burlington, Vermont. We’ll enjoy a leisurely drive through the picturesque White Mountains of New Hampshire and then the Green Mountains of Vermont as we start our journey homeward. We will stay at the Comfort Inn in Burlington, Vermont on our last night of the tour. The hotel is located beside the University Mall which is the largest shopping mall in Vermont and has stores such as Macy’s, Kohls & BonTon. (B)
Day 8: Tues., Oct. 18 – A group breakfast will be served before departing for home. We will stop at the Duty Free shop before entering Canada. Return to Barrie at approx. 8:30p.m (B)
Tour includes: motor coach transportation with tour director, 7 nights hotel & taxes, baggage handling (including a 4-night stay at The Red Jacket Inn a ocean front property) 7 breakfasts, 1 lunch, 3 dinners, guided tours, a full day on the beautiful island of Nantucket, 1 ferry crossing, train excursion, whale watching tour, admissions as outlined in the itinerary, duty free shopping & HST EXEMPT.

PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP:
A Valid Canadian Passport - the best form of Identification
As of June 1, 2009, a Valid Canadian passport is required for those travelling to the United States by land, air or cruise ship.
Canadian Residents Holding non-Canadian Passports: Upon entry into the USA by land, you must fill out Form I-94, and pay $6 US per person. Upon your return to Canada, the form must be presented to the customs office as proof that you have left the USA.
Hamilton Tours staff advise passengers of their travel document requirements, but we will not be responsible for passengers denied access to the US, or for re-entry into Canada. If this happens, you will be responsible for your own transportation home.
To facilitate border crossing, please keep your identification on your person.
