Tentative Itinerary:

Day 1: Wed., Sept. 5 - The tour departs from the Barrie, Kozlov Mall at 7:30a.m. & the Tour Office at 8:00a.m. (Overnight parking is available at our Tour Office) Remember to bring with you - your Canadian passport for the border crossing. We will overnight in Stroudsburg, PA. (D).

Day 2: Thurs., Sept. 6 - New York, NY - This morning we travel through the Lincoln tunnel to the city and meet our guide for a unique City tour including a progressive lunch. We will check in to the Doubletree Chelsea, centrally located and our home for the next three nights. Dinner this evening is a short walk from the hotel to Uncle Nick’s Greek Restaurant. (B, L, D)

Day 3: Fri., Sept. 7 - This morning we travel to the Metropolitan Museum of Art for a guided tour and free time to explore the museum. The rest of the day is free for shopping in midtown or explore the city on your own. This evening we will enjoy a pre-theatre dinner at Carmine’s Times Square followed by an 8:00 p.m. Broadway performance. (B & D).

Day 4: Sat., Sept. 8 - This morning after breakfast, we travel to Coney Island and Brighton Beach. We will walk to famous boardwalk with our guide and enjoy lunch in Little Odessa at a Russian teahouse. We return to the hotel in time to get ready for dinner on board the luxurious Bateau, which gives us an opportunity to view the skyline from the water. (B, L, D)

Day 5: Sun., Sept. 9 - On our last morning in Manhattan, we  meet our guide for a tour of Harlem including the Apollo Theatre and lunch at Sylvia’s famous for their soul food served family style.  This afternoon we depart New York and start our journey home with an overnight stay in Schenectady. Day 6: Mon., Sept. 10 - Homeward Bound - A comfortable drive today returns us to Canada! We will stop enroute at the duty free shop. Our return time to Barrie is approximately 8:00p.m. (B)

Tour includes: Hammond motor coach transportation with Hamilton Tours Ltd. Tour Director, 5 nights accommodation, hotel taxes, baggage handling for 1 large suitcase each, admissions as listed in itinerary, 12 meals, 1 theatre performance, shuttle to local shopping & GST EXEMPT.
