Windsor & Point Pelee – A Winning Combination
Point Pelee, a 10-kilometre sand spit with its southern point equal in latitude to the northern border of California, contains one of Canada's smallest but most unusual national parks.
Tentative Itinerary:
Day 1: Mon., Sept. 14 - The tour will depart from Barrie, Kozlov Mall at 7:30a.m. & the Tour Office at 8:00a.m. (Overnight parking is available at the Tour Office) We will visit Parks Blueberry Farms near London for lunch. We will be staying at the beautiful Casino Windsor Hotel. The Casino will provide each guest with 2 - $15.00 coupons which can be redeemed for a combination of food and/or coin vouchers. Each guest will also receive 2 - $10.00 coin bonus coupons. This evening is free to enjoy some of the hotel facilities including the pool or try your luck in the Casino.
Day 2: Tues., Sept. 15 – This morning we will depart for the Leamington Dock to board the Jihmann. Today's highlights include: ferry crossing to Pelee Island, Winery tour & taste testing, B.B.Q. luncheon and Island tour.
Day 3: Wed., Sept. 16 – This morning is at your leisure. We will meet our guide for a city tour at 10:00a.m. Our tour will include stops at Jackson Park, Coventry Gardens and the Hiram Walker Brand Centre. We will depart Windsor mid afternoon returning to the office at approx. 8:30p.m. and Barrie at 9:00p.m.
Tour includes: motor coach transportation with tour director, 2 nights hotel, taxes, baggage handling, admissions & visits as outlined in the itinerary, $30.00 in meal vouchers, $20.00 in coin bonus, guided tour, ferry crossing, 2 lunches & GST.
