Explore Prince Edward County

Tentative Itinerary:
Day 1: Tues., Oct. 19 – The tour will depart from the Barrie, Kozlov Mall at 8:00a.m., Tour Office at 8:30a.m. & Newmarket, Ray Twinney Centre at 9:00a.m.(Overnight parking is available at the Tour Office at Hwy 88 & 400) . Today our destination will be Bloomfield for a 2 night stay at the Huff Estate Winery and Inn. Upon arrival we will enjoy a welcome reception followed by dinner at the historic Waring House in Amelia’s Garden. (D)
Day 2: Wed., Oct. 20 – This morning we explore the county. Our first stop is the Lavender Farm followed by a visit to the Mark Armstrong Studio for a glass blowing demonstration. Other visits today include the Wellington County Museum, a driving tour of the Sandbanks Provincial Park and free time in the town of Picton. Lunch and dinner are included today at local restaurants which feature a Prince Edward County field to table meal. (B, L & D)
Day 3: Thurs., Oct. 21 – After breakfast we depart our hotel and continue with our county tour including Vicki’s Veggies Garden- a ninth generation family farm and sample Pat’s Jams. Lunch will be served at the Duke of Marysburg followed by visits to Fifth Town and Black River artisan cheese makers. Before departing for home we will stop at Lake on the Mountain which is a natural curiosity: it has a constant flow of clean, fresh water, with no apparent source, 60 metres above Lake Ontario. Includes: motor coach transportation with tour director, 2 nights hotel, hotel taxes, baggage handling, 6 meals, admissions as outlined in the itinerary & HST.
