Tentative Itinerary
Day 1: Mon., Sept. 13 - The tour will depart from Orillia, Barrie, Kozlov Mall & the Tour Office. (Overnight parking is available at the Tour Office) Our adventure begins with a morning flight from Toronto to Victoria, B.C. We will be met at the airport by our motor coach driver. We will settle into our hotel the beautiful and historic Fairmont Empress Hotel for our 2 night stay. In the afternoon there will be free time to explore the city or perhaps visit the Royal B.C. Museum on your own. Dinner will be at your leisure as you adjust to the 3 hour time difference.
Day 2: Tues., Sept. 14 - This morning we will have a guided city tour of Victoria, a bit of Olde England at the southern tip of Vancouver Island. We will travel to the famous Butchart Gardens for lunch and afternoon visit. Our official Welcome dinner will be served at our hotel this evening. (B, L, D)
Day 3: Wed., Sept. 15
- Today we make our way north to the beautiful ocean front town of Tofino found on the west coast of the Island. We will have time to explore the town and shops. We will stay overnight at the Best Western Tin Wis Resort, enjoying the views of MacKenzie Beach from our rooms. (B)
Day 4: Thurs., Sept. 16
- This morning we will have a guided nature walk in Tofino, before departing for Nanaimo. This evening we’ll stay at the Best Western Dorchester Hotel overlooking the picturesque harbour. (B)
Day 5: Fri., Sept. 17 - This morning we will take the 10:30a.m. Ferry to Horseshoe Bay. We’ll travel north on the “Sea to Sky Highway” and enjoy a late lunch in Whistler and free time to explore the town. We’ll depart for Vancouver where we will check into our hotel for our 2 night stay. (B & L)
Day 6: Sat., Sept. 18
- Discover why this is one of Canada’s most popular destinations. Your city tour encompasses many of the attractions that make Vancouver such a special place, besides the natural beauty of its mountains backdrop and blue Pacific waters. Enter Stanley Park, with 1,000 acres of majestic evergreens and 10 kms of scenic seawall. Experience the city’s kaleidoscope of cultural heritage with its unique steam clock, and colourful Chinatown, second in size only to San Francisco’s. Also highlighted will be Lion’s Gate Bridge, Prospect Point, Olympic sites, English Bay and the meticulously manicured Queen Elizabeth Park. During your tour there will be a lunch stop at Granville Island with free time to wander the unique shops. This afternoon experience the thrill of the Capilano River at the Capilano Suspension Bridge. (B)
Day 7: Sun., Sept. 19
- Today will be a leisurely drive from Vancouver to Penticton in the Okanogan Valley with stops enroute at fruit stands and lunch at Manning Park. We will stay overnight at the Days Inn. (B, D)
Day 8: Mon., Sept. 20
- This morning we will visit one of the bench wineries in the region and visit the picturesque town of Kelowna mid day. Our destination is the Three Valley Gap Chateau for our 2 night stay. The resort is nestled between the clear waters of Three Valley Lake and sheer cliffs of the Monashee Mountains. (B & D)
Day 9: Tues., Sept. 21
- Today is a rest day, a chance to do laundry, read and enjoy the mountain setting. You will have time to explore the Heritage Ghost Town, it is the only collection of its kind in the world, and transports visitors back to the pioneer days of the 1800s. The Antique Auto Museum features automobiles from 1902 through 1929, and guests can also explore the vast Railway Roundhouse, the largest covered Turntable and Roundhouse complex in Canada. Tonight we will enjoy a Western BBQ dinner. (B & D)
Day 10: Wed., Sept. 22
- Get out your cameras! Today will be a travel day filled with many highlights and photo opportunities. This morning we will travel through Rogers Pass and Kicking Horse Pass as we cross into Alberta. We will visit Lake Louise and experience the Columbian Ice Fields as we board our snocoach for a ride up the Athabasca Glacier this afternoon. This evening we will have dinner at Saskatchewan River Crossing and then travel onto Banff for our 2 night stay at the High Country Inn. (B, L & D)
Day 11: Thurs., Sept. 23
- Banff National Park will take your breath away. You will have a free time to stroll the streets of this resort town. This afternoon we will take the Sulphur Mountain Gondola to the top and enjoy breathtaking views. A visit to the Hot Springs completes our day. (B)
Day 12: Fri., Sept. 24
- Today we will enjoy a noon hour cruise and box lunch on Lake Minnewanka. We will take the scenic route 1A as we drive into Calgary for our 2 night stay at the Country Inn & Suites.(B, L)
Day 13: Sat., Sept. 25 - Highlights of our Calgary City tour will include: Calgary’s Downtown core from skyscrapers to “Sandstone City”, City Hall & Olympic Plaza, Canada Olympic Park, Bow River & Stampede Park. This afternoon we have included a visit to Heritage Park allowing you to learn more about western settlers. Tonight we will enjoy a special evening dinner at the Calgary Tower. (B & D)
Day 14: Sun., Sept. 26
- Today will find us exploring the Badlands and Drumheller. We will visit the Royal Tyrrell Dinosaur Museum before heading north to Edmonton for our overnight stay at the Fantasyland Hotel located at the West Edmonton Mall. Tonight will be our Farewell dinner. (B & D)
Day 15: Mon., Sept. 27 – This morning you will have free time to experience the West Edmonton Mall. This afternoon we will have a brief driving tour of Alberta’s capital city. This evening we will board our return flight home to Pearson International Airport. Our motor coach will be there to pick us up and transfer us back to our departure points. (B)

Tour includes: transfer by motor coach to Pearson International Airport in Toronto, motor coach transportation in B.C. & Alberta with a Hamilton Tours Ltd. Tour Director, 14 nights overnight accommodation, baggage handling for 1 large suitcase each, hotel taxes, 14 breakfasts, 4 lunches, 7 evening dinners, National Park passes, attractions and guided tours as listed in the itinerary & HST.

An initial deposit of $500.00 is required at time of booking.

A second deposit of $1500.00 is due on May 15 with the balance due in full by August 1, 2010
